About the Client
The client is a Large PSU Bank managing high-volume UPI transactions across India. Their operations include reconciling transactions between Person-to-Person (P2P) and Person-to-Merchant (P2M) payments, requiring accurate and efficient processing.
The Problem
The bank's UPI GL Reconciliation (UPI GL Recon) process faced several issues:
- Massive Data Volume: 40 lakh records daily from NPCI and ARCOS.
- Manual Processing: Reconciliation through Excel files was slow and error-prone.
- Long Processing Time: Required 8 hours and 6 FTEs, delaying final GL reconciliation.
Our Approach
Lauren designed an automation-driven UPI GL Recon solution to:
- Automate data insertion using Automation Anywhere A360.
- Process high-volume transactions with SSIS database jobs.
- Generate MIS reports and GL worksheets automatically.
